REVEAL YOUTH FALL 2020 MINISTRIES
Activities and events will be a hybrid of virtual and social-distanced/safe gatherings. Youth Group meetings will begin September 13th at 5 pm and continue every Sunday from 5 pm- 6 pm until mid-December. The youth will use a series entitled “Faith in an Anxious World.” Events to be planned include a Halloween party (Think “Trunk or Treat” in the church parking lot, Christmas party, and possibly an at-home service event such as packing care bags). Contact Deacon Brooke DeJong at email@example.com for more information.
Our REVEAL Youth Ministry strives to help youth build meaningful relationships with one another, with God, and to help build the Kingdom of God on earth. We do so by meeting on Sunday evenings throughout the academic year. Gatherings may include events, mission projects, discussion groups, and fun activities.
VIRTUAL SUNDAY SCHOOL BEGINS SEPTEMBER 6 (Pre-K to 2nd)
Virtual Sunday school will begin on September 6th for preschool to 2nd grade students. Each child will receive a Wonder Box that contains a Celebrate Wonder Family Resource Book, an age-appropriate Celebrate Wonder activity pack, a Worship Kit, and fun crafts (no extra supplies needed). You may supplement these materials by visiting our Family + Faith + Fun Facebook Group.
VIRTUAL SUNDAY SCHOOL BEGINS SEPTEMBER 13 (3rd-5th grade)
This age group will have Sunday school via ZOOM at 9:30 on Sunday morning. We will watch the Celebrate Wonder video and then discuss the lesson and have some fun. Finally, the students can have “free” chat time to just talk. This should be 30-40 minutes at the most. If you miss the ZOOM class, the videos are available on the Family + Faith + Fun Facebook Group.

Summer Mission Trips
Every summer our youth leave the comfort of their homes and travel for a week of missions work. Our Illumin8 group generally travels for a longer duration of time, with more intense work trips, while our Ignite group stays within 2-3 hours of our church home. Our summer mission trips are paid for largely by our fundraising efforts throughout the year! In order to participate in summer mission trips, youth are expected to have regular attendance to youth events and are required to participate in fundraising activities.

Our Youth Name is REVEAL signifying our groups’ desire to present opportunities for youth to allow God to REVEAL himself to us in our group gatherings and everyday lives.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” –1 Timothy 4:12
Our senior high group, 9th–12th grade, seeks to apply the group name ILLUMIN8, in their walk with God. While our senior high group continues to grow and learn the word of God, this group name encourages us to go one step further and develop spiritual gifts and leadership to ILLUMIN8 our light to those around us. We encourage senior high to participate in Sunday worship services, become involved in various church ministries, as well as mentor our IGNITE group.
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” –John 8:12
