During the last 10 years, there’s been a 873% increase in anti-Semitism, with a 360% increase since Oct 7, 2022; it’s more vital than ever that people learn about anti-Semitism and what to do about it. This event features Rev. Dr. Barbara Javore of North Shore UMC, who shares how anti-Semitism came to be; Rabbi Wendi Geffen of North Shore Congregation Israel, who discusses the Jewish community’s experience of anti-Semitism today; and Dr. Rachel Hirsch of the Anti-Defamation League of Chicago, who discusses practical ways to address anti-Semitism.
