In honor of Mother’s Day, First UMC continues our tradition of collecting a special offering for a designated Outreach ministry. This year’s beneficiary is Northern Illinois Justice For Our Neighbors (NIJFON), which provides free high-quality legal services to low-income immigrants, engages in education and advocacy efforts, and builds cross-cultural relationships. We invite you to share a special gift in celebration of your mother, grandmother, or mothering figure in your life. Please return your gift to the church by or before Tuesday, May 5.
