Time: Leave First UMC 11:00 am / step into Glenview Woods 11:30 am (walk ends approx. 1:30–2:00 pm)

Let’s walk through Glenview Woods, a pristine and beautiful Illinois Nature Preserve. See spring wildflowers and explore a glacial land formation. Marcia Kittler, Illinois Extension Master Naturalist, will be our guide. The first part of our walk will be on a lovely, paved riverside trail, and the second part will be up a small hill on a flowery, unpaved trail. Feel free to bring a lawn chair, water, and brown bag lunch and enjoy some fellowship afterwards. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear with traction; skin protection is recommended. If there is light precipitation, we will walk through sprinkles — heavier weather may require a change of plans.
