September 11 Memorial Service and Peace Pole Dedication

The City of Park Ridge invites the whole community to a memorial service marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks. We gather to remember the lives that were lost, to honor the courage and sacrifice of our first responders and to reflect together on that day.

Immediately following the service, the Rotary Club of Park Ridge will dedicate a new Peace Pole in Hodges Park, with Pastor Bob Campbell as the featured speaker. The eight-foot pole carries the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in eight languages and Braille, offered as a statement of hope that countries around the world will keep working for peace.
