Welcome to the Family Faith page!

We know it can be a challenge to find time to engage in faith-forming activities at home. Many parents and grandparents want to share their family faith with the children in their lives, but it is hard to know where to begin. The resources on this page are links to articles on children, parenting, and faith that I found interesting. If you have resources you would like to share, just let me know.  children@parkridgeumc.org.

Vibrant Faith@Home has resources for families of all shapes and sizes to start incorporating faith practices into their daily routine. Family activities are available in 6 categories: Caring Conversation, Ritual and Tradition, Prayer, Bible Story, Serving Others, Learning about Faith. You will find a simple how-to video for each category. This site is great for families with children and youth.

It is also a collection of prayers – for mealtime, bedtime, special occasions, ordinary times, prayers just for parents, prayers just for kids. A wonderful reference guide for parents who want to make prayer a priority in their homes.  Upper Room Books
