Invite friends and neighbors! \nSee what’s growing in the summer woodlands and savannas at Bunker Hill\, visit a 10\,000 year old prairie ecosystem\, find serenity along the shores of the North Branch of the Chicago River\, and discover the history of these lands — guided by Marcia Kittler\, Illinois Extension Master Naturalist. Afterward\, stay for an optional picnic lunch at about 12:45 pm; bring your lunch\, a drink\, and a lawn chair! Always recommended: skin protection and sturdy\, enclosed shoes.
